Monthly net pay in 2026 for a single person with no children, full-time, with no benefits or overtime, with 7% municipal tax. Parameters as of 1 October 2026.

A statutory civil servant pays less in social security contributions than a contract staff member, but is entitled to neither the work bonus nor the fiscal work bonus: below about €3,300 gross, their net pay is therefore lower for the same gross.

  • Self-employed as a main occupation: for €30,000 of profit a year, €1,667.82 net a month, on average. You set your prices and deduct your expenses, but a minimum contribution is due every quarter.
